About Me

Energy Data Scientist

As a geophysicist with expertise in GIS, and data science, I am passionate about advancing Nigeria's energy transition. My work focuses on bridging gas-powered infrastructure with renewable off-grid solutions to ensure equitable electricity access.

With a geophysics background and data science skills, I am learning to analyse energy trends, optimise gas-to-power systems, and map off-grid energy deployment. While natural gas serves as a transition resource, my goal is to contribute to developing decentralised, renewable solutions aligned with Nigeria's Energy Transition Plan.

I am eager to collaborate with innovators and policy makers to deliver 24/7 electricity and drive a net-zero future.

Intern Geophysicist

Oando Energy Resources | February - July, 2023

  • Identified faults and horizons in seismic data using the Petrel software.
  • Quantitatively analyzed well log data (GR, LLD, NPHI, RHOB) to estimate porosity, permeability, fluid saturation, and reservoir properties using Python programming Language.
  • Created depth-pressure data to identify free water levels and oil-water contacts, deriving hydrocarbon zone characteristics.
  • Correlated sand bodies across multiple wells, identifying structural and stratigraphic traps for reservoir characterization.
